Advancing Macomb’s mission is to strengthen Macomb County, Michigan, by connecting community challenges with high-impact solutions. We achieve this by cementing partnerships between the nonprofit, public and private sectors, identifying and attracting resources to fund major projects and programs, and bringing increased visibility to Macomb County.

Nonprofit Sector Support

We work alongside Macomb County nonprofit organizations to provide them with knowledge and skill-building opportunities, platforms to connect with each other and support to be more impactful in their communities.

Community Development

Through partnerships between the public and private sectors, we activate community-based projects to improve the quality of life for residents in Macomb County.

Collaborative Partnerships

In all of our work, we partner with local businesses, nonprofits, government entities and community groups in order to pool resources, share expertise and address common challenges to achieve greater impact.

Signature Events

Our annual Community Engagement Summit and Summer Soirée allow stakeholders to engage more fully with Advancing Macomb's leadership and with the leadership of nonprofit organizations and Macomb County communities.

Youngblood Vineyard to host Advancing Macomb’s Summer Soirée

Macomb Daily, June 3, 2024 - Advancing Macomb will present its 8th annual Summer Soirée from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., June 12 at Youngblood Vineyard in Ray Township. The event that has become an annual summer gathering for Advancing Macomb, its partners, supporters and the community serves as an opportunity to celebrate the organization’s past successes, key partnerships and recent achievements while helping to support future work.

Through the Nonprofit Spotlight series, Advancing Macomb highlights the work of a Macomb County-based nonprofit. This month, in honor of Pride Month, we feature Macomb County Pride. Benjamin Orjada is a proud and active member of Macomb County Pride. He describes the organization as an amazing community of individuals working together to drive meaningful and lasting change for the better in Macomb County. Macomb County Pride was established in 2019 by a dedicated group of volunteers aiming to create a supportive environment for the LGBTQ+ community and serve as a resource in Macomb County.
